Research Departments and Teams
The GWZO has three research departments: »Humans and Environment«, »Culture and Imagination« and »Entanglements and Globalization«. In addition, there are two junior research groups: »Contrasting East-Central Europe« and »The Dantean Anomaly«. The VW Freigeist junior research group »The Dantean Anomaly« works within the »Humans and Environment« department. Each team’s research is complemented and connected to others thanks to five overarching research themes from which the working groups emerged.
