About

Anja Rasche studied Art History, Medieval and Modern History and Slavic Studies at the Universities of Bamberg and Berlin (TU/FU). She received her PhD on the subject of »Studies on Hermen Rode« at the TU Berlin (published Petersberg 2013). 2011 Foundation of the Network Art and Culture of the Hanseatic Cities and 2013-2015 development at the Center for Cultural Studies Research Lübeck (ZKFL) together with Dr. Kerstin Petermann. Since then, coordination and further development of the network through conferences and publications. 2016-2018 scientific advisor for science communication at FIZ Karlsruhe - Leibniz Institute for Information Infrastructure. 2018-2019 Research assistant for the major special exhibition »Fascination City. The Urbanization of Europe and Magdeburg Law« at the Museum of Cultural History Magdeburg. 10/2020 to 09/2021 Deputy Head of the Knowledge Transfer and Networking Department at the GWZO. Exhibition and publication projects with the Archive of the Hanseatic City of Wismar: 2018 - »Reformation in Wismar: People - Places - Objects«; 2021 - »Wismar's Lost Center - the Gothic Quarter. Meaning - Destruction - Myth« in cooperation with the GWZO; 2022 - »The Miracle of Wismar: The Reconstruction of St. George's Church 1990-2010«; 2024 - »Step by Step Approach. Wismar in the early 1990s. Photographs by Rainer Andresen«. 11/2023 Guest researcher at the GWZO.

Since 09/2024 research associate in the project: Bewegung - Begegnung - Konflikt: Forschungen zur transnationalen Kulturgeschichte des östlichen Europa im Übergang vom Spätmittelalter zur Frühen Neuzeit (1300-1570).
