David Luis Washington was born in Baden-Wurttemberg, where he finished his Abitur 2016. While studying library and information science at the HTWK Leipzig, he worked at the art centre HALLE 14 e.V. and its art library located in the Spinnerei area in Leipzig. In summer 2024, he finished his Bachelor of Arts at HTWK.
Since October 2024, he works at the library of GWZO.
